Who wouldn't like to fly over London as Peter Pan and Wendy did? What a wondeful experience to fly over St James's park, to stop at Big Ben and then over the Tower and Tower bridge

You may say: " But Peter Pan never exited and we can't fly" Well, it is true, but we can experience the magic of the following video, click on this link and you will experience the magic of flying over London.

Now let's prepare a great day around London, we have museums, shops, parks, markets and many other atractions waiting for us, but before we start, we need some important tools:
Maps!!! a map of London and a map of the underground, a big English breakfast to keep us moving!! and a confortable pair of shoes, otherwise the following day we may have to remain at the hotel!!

A pair of old shoes, a great companion in a trip

And after having taken
this gorgeous breakfast, we are ready fot today's menu:

1st course: Museums
The museum of London
The British Museum
Natural History museum
The National Gallery

2nd course: Shopping
Wide variety of markets
Department stores: Harrods

The recommendations of the chef are as follow:
  • Great readers, you have an appointment with the writer of Great expectations at the Museum of London. Charles Dickens is still with us after 200 years.
  • For those who follow the steps of Leonardo's works, the beautiful Lady of the Ermine is there, don't keep her waiting.
  • Diplodocus are your passion?, the Natural History museum keeps anyone's fantasy awake. Don't lose your child's spirit and visit it again.
  • Egipt, Persia, Greece, Rome, there they are at your disposal, just for your eyes at the British Museum.
  • After culture treat youself to a lovely lunch in a London pub and get ready for a shopping afternoon. Go to Portobello, to Harrods ....
  • And end your day with a musical

And now  time has arrived for the big question......................

If you took a boat from Westminter Abbey to The Tower, what buildings would you see? Mention as many as possible.

My video. Aticus, the teacher I'd like to be.

This is one  of my favourite films: To kill a mockingbird based on the novel written by Harper Lee. I think it is perfect to show you the kind of teacher  I would like to be: Above  all honest with my students. I would like to give them the right tools to be critic.

    A new adventure

This is my first blog, and I have entitled it "The trip begins" because I feel as If I were going to start a trip: I know neither the tools I have to use, nor what difficulties I will find along it, though as it happens in trips, along the way there are always so many people who helps us to make it easier and more pleasant, that I am sure this will be the case in this technological adventure.

I very seldom travel by train, though I love it. I have used this means of trnsport in developping countries where life goes slower, for the tourist/traveller is a good change, it helps us to see the details of life, which we often miss in our day-to day lives. In this case, I find this picture and idea appropiate to show my state of mind: I want and need to learn slowly, step by step, as Mº Paz said in her blog, to enjoy the experience and to feel it deeper

    My alter ago.
I can't think o anything or anyone in particular I just can talk of how bad I feel after having been all day long trying to create this blog, I just feel like Audrey Hepburn under the rain at the end of Breakfast at Tiffany's, completely wet and lost but without George Peppard.

Sorry, but I can't still understand how this tool works, I feel so clumsy. I have the impression of just groping in the dark.
